CHM 2nd Annual Awards Celebration...A Rousing Success!
On Monday, June 20th, over 80 CHM students, family members, and friends came out to celebrate the
accomplishments of our CHM children. The evening began with a heartfelt prayer by homeschool dad Rev. Vaughn Foster.
From there, 20 families were called individually to the stage to present awards of achievement to their children. We
enjoyed stories of charity, educational success, perseverence and excellence. We laughed and we cried.
We were then treated to a piano recital by four of our outstanding students. David and Gabe
Merkin, Spencer McKeon and Olivia Crespo each played a beautiful piece to the delight of the audience.
To cap off the night, our very own Anita Harding played guitar while Sue Wojtkowski and Wendy Crespo
shared two comedic songs with us. To the tunes of "Proud Mary" and "So Happy Together", we empathized about the
life a homeschooling mom.
In all, the evening was a night to remember. Thank you to all who made this program possible.
